Hertford

A listed Garden. This garden was a joy to work in: the beauty of the space and the clients who took this garden on with great gusto! Firstly, a restoration stage: the boundary wall needed re-pointing with lime mortar and the box hedging (in listed fish shape) all had to be kept intact. Secondly, planting design: the new planting woven to mimic the movement of the river . The original conservatory was planted with the arch representing the old door. Successional planting was designed to provide flowers for the house throughout the year.
